I think the best approach to Torghatten depends on the status of the sun, if any. The light, as usual in Norway makes a difference. This gravel “privat“ road is not only free of 4-wheelers but also offers additional scenery besides perfect overnight wild camping spots. It brings you slowly up to this magnificent rock formation through a great blend of different landscapes with the ultimate few at the end.
