From here, you can enjoy excellent views of Trondheim, its coastline, and Nidoras Cathedral. About 300 meters further on, on Fridtjof Nansens vei, you'll find a small information sign about the St. Olav's Way: Here, on the so-called "Hill of Joy," pilgrims in the Middle Ages are said to have paused briefly and fallen to their knees at the long-awaited sight of the cathedral.
