Hiking
Eerbeek has a centuries-old history of paper production. Paper has been produced here since the 17th century. Initially, it was produced in water-powered paper mills along streams and wells, traces of which can still be found here and there. Later, this artisanal process evolved into industrial factories, making Eerbeek one of the most important paper centers in the Netherlands. Upon entering Eerbeek, the enormous factory is impossible to miss.
