Along the cycle/pedestrian path that runs from Hotel Caneo along the coast to the entrance of the road that climbs Valle Cavanata, the last stretch is interrupted due to the reconstruction of the railings and the cycle path.

Further update: as of now, March 2026, the section of the FVG2 cycle path, along the Fossalon seafront, between Val Cavanata and the Isonzo River, is largely under maintenance and is absolutely not passable by bike. You must stay on the road/dirt road that runs alongside, under the embankment of the cycle path, unfortunately losing all the panoramic view of the sea.
