"Rhapsody" is a monumental artwork, 8 meters tall and weighing 3 tons, installed in front of the Château du Val-Saint-Lambert in honor of the late master verrier Louis Leloup (1929-2025). Made of corten steel with a mirrored stainless steel sphere atop it, it symbolizes the fluid, harmonious movements of glassblowing and connects Val-Saint-Lambert's crystal tradition with contemporary art. Leloup, who worked at the factory for decades and invented innovations like the multi-cannes soufflage, is thus given a lasting tribute in his hometown.
