Among its activities, Verde Mare manages the Batteria Generale Chiodo, a historic site on the Montemarcello promontory (municipality of Ameglia), redeveloped as a hiking refuge, with a bar, kitchen, 25 beds, and a multipurpose room. Verde Mare is also involved in urban ecology projects: it has established horticulture on local land and promotes traditional crafts to strengthen social and local ties.
