It is a brick, neoclassical hall church from 1824. In 1957 the transept and a new choir were added. The church has a built-in west tower of two segments, covered with a constricted needle spire. A roof turret with bells has been placed above the crossing of the church.

Hiking
The monument was designed by Eugène Canneel. In addition to a plot of honor, it includes a bronze relief depicting father Lambrechts and three of his sons. Two of the sons are in military uniform, and the third is wearing priestly vestments. The father (Théophile), the mother (Carolina Bangels), and three of the four sons (Louis, Edmond, and René) are buried here. Son Tony and daughter Gusta died later and were buried elsewhere.
