Hiking
The Levada do Caldeirão Verde is a narrow path that runs directly alongside the water, through dense laurel forest and beneath sometimes steep rock faces. Along the way, you'll pass tunnels, small waterfalls, and numerous viewpoints offering breathtaking vistas of the valley below – a true sense of adventure. Good shoes and a headlamp are essential, as the path is often wet, slippery, and occasionally dark.
