Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in Osnabrücker Land – Museum und Park Kalkriese, short Museum und Park Kalkriese, is an archaeological museum with an attached open-air museum in the Kalkriese district of Bramsche on the Wiehengebirge in Osnabrücker Land. The site was founded because the Kalkriese find region indicates that one of the locations of the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest between Arminius and Varus may have been here in 9 AD.

It is not entirely clear whether the battle actually took place here, but excavations have been carried out that at least prove a battlefield. You can take a break on the hike in the café (even without paying admission).
