    The Monument of the Heroes of the Greek Revolution of 1821 (Greek: Πανελλήνιο Ηρώο Εθνικής Παλιγγενεσίας), located near Kalavryta on the hill of Prophet Elias, opposite the Monastery of Agia Lavra.

    It is considered the most glorious monument of the Greek nation and honors the fighters of the War of Independence against the Ottoman Empire.

    The monument consists of three central statues representing different groups of the revolution:

    The Clergy: The figure with the cross represents the participation of the church in the uprising.

    The Fighters: The statue with the weapon symbolizes the sacrifice of soldiers and veterans.
