The ascent or descent to Oberlauelen Alm leads through beautiful forest trails through an equally beautiful forest. Such forest paths are a source of power for me, the calm and strength that the trees radiate are a real treat. The ground is rather swampy, but in contrast, they have built several "jetties" over the boggy lots, a great thing.

By the way, this forest path is part of the path "way around Kriens" and leads along the border.

Hiking

Super nice climb to Alp Oberlauelen in the forest. Less frequently used by hikers than the "direct ascent" from the Eigenthal valley floor via the Alp Unterlauelen. On the other hand, bikers may occasionally come towards you on this route.

The repair of the path in the last section at the Nätschen was very successful and the path itself is even worth a photo...not just the view towards Pilatus or Rägeflüeli / Studberg.
