The 22.5 hectares that constitute this bold project are the result of this dream and a legacy of words, painstakingly crafted by a group of 60 poets who draw a map that we traverse from the Troubadours, of the Renaissance and one of its greatest figures, Luís Vaz de Camões, to the 20th century, with poets like Fernando Pessoa, Ruy Belo, Alexandre O’Neill, Sophia de Mello Breyner Andresen or Natália Correia, to name just a few of the best known.
