Hiking
On its bank stands a chapel from 1070. Next to the chapel there is a sarcophagus. In Celtic times the site was probably a religious site. A hermitage was founded there in the 11th century. In 1508 a chapel called the Chapelle de la Mer (Sea Chapel) was built and became a place of pilgrimage. In 1865, after the old chapel was destroyed, a new pilgrimage chapel was built on its crypt.

Wonderful meadow to settle down, with space for a hammock and blanket. At night without all the mosquitoes from the (wonderful!) Lac de la Maix.
Camping is of course not allowed, but where there is no plaintiff there is no judge. Stay calm and take your trash with you ☝️
