Hiking

Founded in 1899 by Spanish businessmen, the Bank of Sóller is an architectural gem next to the Church of St. Bartholomew. The modern bank building, designed by Joan Rubio i Bellver, a student of Antoni Gaudí, was completed in 1912. It draws the eye with its striking limestone facades that reflect the rustic stone texture of the church. The corner balcony in the typical Gaudí style is particularly impressive. The ornate ironwork of the window arches on the ground floor gives the building additional charm. Today it is used by Banco Santander.
