At an idyllic mill pond in Watern you will first find the Bockenmühle with its undershot steel mill wheel and wooden shovels, which owes its name to the owner Christian Bocken, who took it over from his parents in 1826. At that time, the mill with its two grinding cycles and an oil press was busy for up to six hours a day.
