    Hiking

Spurn is a long narrow sand spit with a tidal island at its end in the mouth of the Humber Estuary. It has a semi-permanent connection to the mainland but since a high sea in 2013 it's been an island at very high tides or big seas. Therefore, please be careful on this walk and check the weather and tide forecast.
The area is a national nature reserve owned and managed by the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust.

    Hiking

The hike on the narrow sand-tidal island off the coast of Yorkshire is impressive. Attention: Be sure to observe the tides, the peninsula is different depending on the height of tides and low!
