Yes, although the southern tip is getting smaller and smaller, it's still worth it to circle around. There is a lot to see, eg. For example, the lighthouse, the southern tip, the ode with bollards and lots of nature. A preferred time does not exist because it is always beautiful, of course, the sunset has always something special to offer.
