Hiking

A village steeped in history, whose houses await reconstruction. Starting point for tours in all directions. During the season, a kiosk is operated next to the bridge, with accommodation options in Agios Giannis (Alonia) or Anopoli. What does the addition "closed" to the highlight title mean? This is not true for 2026 and, apart from that, has only ever been the case very briefly, unlike the Samaria Gorge, the only one that is actually closed in winter (until May).
