In the Hanseatic period this was a guild hall for German merchants, but in the 16th century it was converted into a church in neo-Gothic style.
The inside is baroque with gold-colored elements, such as the king's box, designed by Nicodemus Tessin (the elder).
The wine cellar from the guild era is still there.
