Here, there's a river crossing, practically at the foot or outflow of the lake, which is easy to manage further upstream, as it's very shallow. Further down, there's a very strong current and deep water.
Furthermore, there's an excellent campsite with a seating area right on the lake, which is impressively situated with its dead forest at the back of the lake and the Andes as a backdrop. And last but not least, there's a rowboat you can use to row out onto the lake...
