Hiking
The world’s first bicycle lift is located in the centre of Trondheim. The first version came into operation as early as 1993, and in 2013 it was replaced by a more modern facility. In Trondheim, the facility is called ‘Sykkelheisen Trampe’. Provided you have the necessary practice or experience, you can comfortably ride your bike up the hill towards the fortress using the lift. With an average gradient of 18%, this covers a height difference of a good 23 metres.
