Sculpture "Kairos" by Markus Merkle
- made of steel
Excerpt from the flyer:
The sculpture "Kairos" unfolds column-like from round steel discs. Towering high, it stands still while everything around it is in motion. In Greek mythology, Kairos is the god of the opportune moment, of opportunity. A fleeting moment – a break in the flow of time, a "now or never." Merkle captures this concept by placing the sculpture at a junction—a bridge, a path, and a stream—thus raising questions about direction and new possibilities.
