The stream is the Dubelograben, which runs from Dr. Rörig Dam through the Stadtheide (city heath). It flows under Schwabenweg, crosses Bayernweg, and flows under Haustenbecker Straße, through the Fischteiche forest (local recreation area), then under Diebesweg and further toward Fürstenallee, where it empties into the Pader River, but already beyond the Padersee. The ditch has already been renaturalized in the area from Haustenbeckerstraße to Eutiner Weg (playground). Renaturation work began in July, extending to Schwabenweg, and is scheduled to continue until the end of November.
