Hiking

The stated 3 hours are needed for the Kirschweg 1. I would have liked to have seen a bench or two to rest on at some of the inclines or at places with great views. Trash cans are almost nonexistent, so you'll need to bring a can or bag for your trash. Otherwise, the trail was extremely well signposted and well-maintained.

Hiking

For me one of the most beautiful sections of the cherry trails 1 and 2, because here you hike directly through and under the trees of a cherry tree plantation.
There is also a small rest area above the plantation, from where you have a wonderful view of the plantation and the Werra valley.
