Located east of Owens Valley, Winnedumah Paiute Monument – an 80 foot tall granite monolith – rises in the middle of nowhere within the Inyo Mountains. You can get there by taking some old backcountry roads and a crosscountry sections. Some people climb to the top of the pinnacle by using ropes.
