Hiking

Repeatedly destroyed (e.g. in 1164 and 1177 by Henry the Lion), rebuilt and expanded. The defensive tower was built in 1211 (presumably under Danish influence).

Largely destroyed in the Thirty Years' War (1631); in 1648, the Swedish fortress builder Erik Dahlberg blew up the tower, and the remaining works were demolished.

I absolutely can't agree with the alleged renovation or security measures. Modern stone was used there. I wonder if it really looked like this? Without a gate, door, or windows?
