From Calw-Heumaden, the Tälesbach flows into a wooded area. Its longest tributary, the Neuhengstetter Bach, forms the characteristic stream bed here. This V-shaped valley, which is about one and a half kilometers long and has steep slopes on both sides, is called the Klinge. Natural banks and mossy rocks made of red sandstone are flooded by the water. The Mönchlochgraben is the largest tributary coming from the right.
