The Hainer See near Kahnsdorf was flooded with open-cast mining water from the Schleenhain brown coal mine from 1999 to 2010. It is one of the lakes in the New Lake District. Weekend houses with a view of the lake can be rented. Sailing trips, hiking and cycling are possible. The lakeside restaurant offers all kinds of food and you can enjoy relaxation there.
