The landslide of Gannariente / Ganarint was the worst in historical time for the Bavonatal, a huge block debris field blocks the entire valley floor with some towering boulders. In 1595, the small church was built in memory - after all, the largest in the valley. Every year on the first Sunday of May, a procession of Cavergno takes place from here.
