Here stood the Command of the 6th Austro-Hungarian Infantry Division: from here they garrisoned and controlled from above the nerve center and imposing logistics base of Campo Gallina. It offered the officers accommodation that was not without privileges: in a situation of chronic water shortage, they had a cistern reserved for them to bathe in!
