Lug (Mag. Laskó) is a village on the edge of Kopački rit and from Lug one of the three road routes leads to the Nature Park itself. Once upon a time, the Danube flowed through Lug, but today it is widely known not for fishing like the nearby Kopacevo, but for vegetable growing - the production of ground paprika, the red gold of Baranja.
