The post office in Murnau am Staffelsee was built in 1923 and is listed as a historic building in the Bavarian monument list. The two-storey, historicist gable roof building with stepped gables was built by the Munich architects Franz Holzhammer, Robert Vorhoelzer and Sigmund Schreiber. The building has a mural around the pointed arch portal.
