The chapel, built by the residents themselves, was inaugurated in July 1728. It was dedicated to Saint Andrew. But over the years the chapel had become outdated. It was in need of renovation and was also too small.
Therefore, today's new church was built in 1874.
In 2001, the church factory carried out a complete renovation of the building on its own: lighting, murals, painting the ceilings and all woodwork.
On July 15, 2008, the catastrophe occurred - the church was on fire.
Today the church has been restored again. A church service takes place every Sunday.

An 1107 manuscript from Stavelot, now in the British Museum, mentions the village of Coo. A chapel was not built there until 1726.

The chapel, built by the residents themselves, was consecrated in July 1728. It was dedicated to Saint Andrew. Over the years, however, the chapel had become outdated. It was in need of renovation and was also too small.
Therefore, the current new church was built in 1874.
In 2001, the church factory undertook a complete renovation of the building on its own: lighting, murals, painting of the ceilings, and all the woodwork.
On July 15, 2008, disaster struck: the church was engulfed in flames.
Today, the church has been restored.
