The tunnel is amazing, it goes on...and on...and on! The mid point has blue circular lights that glow – these are fitted to the sides of the tunnel and also play classical music.
I concur that lights are a good option but make sure you point them down at the ground. We were blinded by people coming towards us and this actually made it more difficult to see. Also beware of people walking through as they are hard to see and often walking 2 or 3 abreast.
