Motor vehicles are prohibited in Pusté žleb. There is an old road that serves as a cycle route and as a hiking trail. From Skalní mlýn to Punkevní jeskyní it is possible to travel by eco-train, from Punkevní jeskyné to Macoš the funicular railway Punkevní jeskyně - Macocha is in operation. It is also possible to climb the Macocha abyss on foot along the Salma path.
