Behind the entire coastline of Usedom (Świnoujście - Peenemünde) runs the track of the Usedomer Bäderbahn with at least hourly service and many stations that allow wonderful trail hikes on the coast or at the backwaters. One of the stations is Bansin station, at times even with manual ticket sales.

Hiking

The Bansin train station is a stop on the Usedom Bäderbahn. Until 1996, the operation on Usedom was an island railway operation. There was no connection to the mainland. An exchange of the vehicles was ensured with a train ferry in Wolgast.
In 1996 the connection to the mainland was established in Wolgast. The trains now run to Stralsund.

Hiking

The connection to the Ducherow – Heringsdorf – Wolgaster ferry line took place at the beginning of the 20th century. The route connected Bansin directly to the mainland via a bridge near Karnin, which was destroyed in World War II. Since 2000, the Seebad Bansin station has been accessible again by rail from the mainland via the new Wolgast Pier.
