If you follow the Lava Creek Trail, you'll eventually come to a small trail that leads directly to the riverbank. A very idyllic spot beneath enormous trees. According to the map, camping is permitted here. There's also a rope for storing food in the tree, making it bear-proof. I can't say how quiet the night will be, though; there were several huge rib bones (deer? bison?) and a hip bone lying around.
