In the small, cozy community in the "green heart of the Wesermarsch" the craft museum is a special highlight. It shows the history of regional craftsmanship in the 19th and 20th centuries and teaches you how life and work at that time functioned. The museum is only open on Sundays from 2pm to 6pm. Other appointments are possible at any time after consultation. Admission costs 2 euros (or 1 euro for children), a tour costs 25 euros. You can contact us by calling 04401-81955.

Ovelgönne totally surprised us. First of all, you can spend the night in the hotel "Zum König von Greece" (ovelgoenner-muehle.de/hotel - with an exciting history) run by a non-profit association. Then you should stroll through the village and read the many information boards, which used to be housed in the houses for crafts and institutions. That's really exciting.
