Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in Biskupice, a stone temple built on the site of the Gothic one in the second half of the 18th century.

Gravel riding

The interior hides a stylish historical mix. The main altar itself, as well as the painting of the patron saint, St. Mary Magdalene, housed within it, were only made in the 19th century. However, the figures of St. Roch and St. Adalbert, standing proudly on either side of the altar, are much older – they are original Baroque sculptures from the first half of the 18th century.

Gravel riding

The most valuable and oldest element of the entire church is the Gothic granite font placed at the main entrance. Its base (shaft) is actually an original, 14th-century fragment of a Gothic portal, which was most likely brought here as building material during the demolition or reconstruction... of the nearby Chełmża Cathedral.
