The complex, never mentioned in works on the history of Piacenza, has traces of a tower on the front facing the internal courtyard, while the windows in the attic may have been obtained from a pre-existing battlement. The original lines of the castle have been profoundly altered by transformations and renovations repeated in different historical periods
