The Thornburg Conservation Area is a large green space just outside of Pittsburgh. It is surrounded by the Chartiers Creek and features about 2 miles of wide trails, leading through open meadows. If you want to extend your hike, you can continue along Johnson's Trail, the follows Chartiers Creek.
