Running
Sawyer Mesa Trail is also a ski trail in the winter with orange blazes, hence its second name, Orange Ski Trail. This trail takes runners through mixed conifer forests, burn areas, and young aspen groves. It shows the contrast between what was burned during the 2011 fire, what survived, and the areas making a comeback.
