These are two old beech trees in the Klosterfeld Forest, standing side by side, entwined for around 100 years.
They appear as if they were embracing each other – hence the name "Giants in Love."
A few years ago, they even received an iron heart and a park bench next to them, so that walkers and lovers can linger there.
The idea came from a resident of Himmelpforten and was implemented in collaboration with the local creative workshop.
