The Trift Tunnel is only for daring hikers: in the past, the trees in the narrow canal next to the footpath in the tunnel were drunk so that you could save yourself the long detour via the Halser Ilzschleife - thus you gained valuable hours. Today you can also cut through the tunnel. The ceiling is very low and there is no lighting. So bring a flashlight or headlamp with you.
