At the entrance to the town from the direction of Wittenberg is the suburban pond - a small oasis to linger. It is a dammed pond that used to belong to the Strohwalde domain along with the large ponds in Niebicke and Strohwalde and was regularly fished. There was also a gondola station there in the 1920s. Today a beautiful green area has been created here.

Small, idyllic green. In the 1980s it regularly froze over and was therefore a paradise for ice skating in town. Today lots of ducks are looking forward to year-round water fun.
