The new exhibition "Humpbacks of Hawai'i" at the Maui Ocean Center is dedicated to the world of humpback whales. Visitors can gain new insights into the world of whales on the island located in the Central Pacific. The animals are in the waters around Hawaii from mid-December to mid-May, where they also give birth to whale calves. The Ocean Center Sphere Theater, which has just been rebuilt, features a 3-D movie about the sea giants.

Very nice summary of the local fish world. Special features: fish tunnel, shark tank, "petting zoo". My favourite: the 3D humpback whale show at the Cinedome. Attention: online booking necessary due to Covid.
