You can also enjoy sweeping 360-degree views from the summit of Middle Knob, making the climb well worth the effort.
Plan your visit by heading to Hayter's Gap, the primary access point for the Brumley Mountain and Channels Trail Loop, where parking is available. Be prepared for sections of the trail that can be quite challenging, particularly the descent into The Channels, which features many roots and rocks.
