    The Windemere Ferry carries people between the eastern and western shores of the lake. The crossing takes around 10 minutes and boats leave generally around every 20 minutes. You can take your bicycle over with you for a small additional fee.     Ferry sometimes is not running due to poor weather or maintenance.
    Runs pretty regularly, every 10/20 minutes. £1 for you and your bike. May not run if the wind gets up, you can check a webcam though to see if it’s running.
