Absolutely worth seeing. The water fountains can be admired at certain times.

Hiking

Since 1403, it has been a proven fixture that shapes the landscape in front of Bamberg's gates: the Figurenweiher pond at Seehof Castle. It gets its name from the god of wine, Bacchus, and the singer Orpheus, both figures from Greek mythology, who, since their restoration in 2013, stand again in the middle of the pond as stone figure islands. Now, the regionally significant Figurenweiher has also been officially recognized as a cultural asset by the Upper Franconian Pond Association.
