You'll pedal past impressive volcanic mountains, enjoying expansive views of amphitheater valleys and long white sand beaches, particularly along Farrington Highway. The route then climbs into the Waianae Range, leading you towards the ancient Kaneaki Heiau, a restored 17th-century Hawaiian temple that serves as a unique cultural landmark.

This moderate 11.9-mile (19.1 km) cycling route involves about 1160 feet (354 metres) of elevation gain and typically takes around 2 hours and 4 minutes to complete. The trail primarily uses well-paved surfaces, though the road to Kaneaki Heiau is narrow. Starting your ride in the morning is highly recommended to enjoy cooler temperatures and the best coastal views, ensuring a more comfortable and scenic journey.
